Vagina
Technically, the vagina is the internal part of the female genitalia – the tunnel that goes from the opening of the vulva, up to the cervix.
However, in day to day conversation, people often use the word “vagina” to refer to a complete set of female genitals, including the vulva.
It’s quite an amazing organ, which is able to stretch to allow a woman to give birth. The stretchy tissue also allows make sexual intercourse or masturbation more comfortable.
Vaginal Fluid
Vaginal fluid is the fluid that lubricates the vagina to prepare it for penetrative vaginal sex.
The fluids clean and moisten the vagina, and help prevent and fight infections. If anything seems different to normal – feels, looks or smells different– it’s always important to get it checked out by your doctor or check out your local family planning here.
Vaginal Sex
Vaginal sex is the insertion of a penis or an object into the vagina.
Vibrator
A vibrator is just like a dildo but it uses batteries to vibrate in a way that creates sexual stimulation. They come in all shapes and sizes.
Virgin
A virgin is a person who has not had penetrative sexual intercourse with a partner.
“Losing your virginity” is when you have penetrative sex with a partner for the first time (heterosexual or homosexual).
Vulva
The vulva is the external part of the female genitalia. It includes the vaginal lips (also called “labia”), the clitoris and the clitoral hood (the skin covering the clitoris).
